Oh wife of the enemy of the God of love. Oh girl, consort of the slayer of the Death God,

Oh Goddess whose hand makes the gesture of giving and who gives the God of love his power to induce passion.

Oh goddess worshiped in Kama Koti, please give me some food to eat.

My salutations to Mother Kamakshi, the one who always satisfies and is always on the side of her devotees.

śrīcakramadhye vasantīṃ bhūtarakṣaḥpiśācātiduṣṭān harantīm |

śrīkāmakoṭyāṃ jvalantīṃ kāmahīnaissugamyāṃ bhaje dehi vācam |

Oh Goddess who dwells in the middle of Shri Chakra, and who protects us by killing Bhūt (ghosts), Piśāca (flesh-eating demons) and Rākṣasa (man-eating demons).

Which makes Shri Kama Koti Peetham shine and which reduces materialistic craving leading us to the correct path.

My salutations to Mother Kamakshi, the one who always satisfies and is always on the side of her devotees.

indrādimānye sudhanye brahmaviṣṇvādivandye girīndrasya kanye |

Oh Goddess respected by Indra and other gods, hailed by Brahma and the world. Oh Goddess daughter of the king of the mountains.

You are respected by the respected and the great sages respect no other God but you, and I sing for you, Oh Mother.

My salutations to Mother Kamakshi, the one who always satisfies and is always on the side of her devotees.

siṃhādhirūḍhe namaste sādhuhṛtpadmagūḍhe hatāśeṣamūḍhe |

My salutations to the Goddess who rides the Lion, You are in the minds of Sadhus and good people and please strike the fools left.

Oh Goddess of words! Please destroy my illnesses and let my voice be firm.

My salutations to Mother Kamakshi, the one who always satisfies and is always on the side of her devotees.

Oh Mother, giver of well-being, Goddess with eyes like lotus leaves, consort of the Lord of time.

You are the mother of Lord Skanda, who is virtuous and well dressed. Oh Goddess Parvati, I sing for you, please give me the words.

My salutations to Mother Kamakshi, the one who always satisfies and is always on the side of her devotees.

Oh clever-faced Goddess, You make the moon turn pale. Your eyes tremble playfully.

Your smile is like the jasmine bud. You bend under the weight of your breasts and your hair attracts bees.

You are light and like a graceful peacock for him who is the enemy of the god of love.

Oh Kamakshi, poets imagine you as the tree of wishes.

My salutations to Mother Kamakshi, the one who always satisfies and is always on the side of her devotees.
